River Road Closure

*This is part of the State Road 32 roundabouts project with INDOT*

River Road will be closed for 14 days beginning on Monday, April 18 - weather permitting. The closure is needed for utility work for the SR32 roundabouts, which is a joint city and INDOT project. The detour route includes Hazel Dell Parkway and 146th Street. River Road will be open to local traffic south of SR32 up to the driveway behind First Merchant Bank.

156th Street Closure

Starting April 14, 156th Street will be closed east of the intersection with Boden Road. The detour route is Boden Road, Olio Road and 146th Street (south) or 166th Street (north). The temporary closure will remain through July 22. The project consists of the construction of a new roundabout on the Boden
Road north/south corridor crossing 156th Street. It also includes pedestrian connectivity, drainage and other improvements for the future corridor work.

Allisonville Road Lane Restrictions

Location: Allisonville Road between Christian Street/Greenfield Avenue and Carbon Street

Lanes: Southbound traffic will utilize Christian Street to South 8th Street to Carbon Street. Northbound traffic will not be impacted

Dates:  60 day restrictions - weather permitting - Monday, May 2 to July 1, 2022

Why: This phase of construction will allow for construction of storm sewer and water lines along the east side of Allisonville Road as well as preliminary trail construction in this vicinity.

Clinton Street Partial Closure

Clinton Street is closed from 8th Street to 9th Street as work on the new Hamilton County Parking Garage is ongoing. The roadway is expected to reopen when the project is completed this summer.
