Santa

Home for the Holidays Tour

Due to public health concerns, the city’s annual Christmas Parade was replaced with the “Home for the Holidays Tour” featuring Santa Claus. The tour allows us to take Santa to the people and ensures proper safety guidelines are followed. Our staff did its best to hit as many neighborhoods in our city as we could. Although we can’t visit every street, we tried to include major roadways so residents can head outside, safely distanced around or in-front of their homes to see Santa.

Holidays at the Hill

Holidays on the Hill features an outdoor ice skating rink, walking light tour, carriage rides, holiday market, and letters to Santa at the Christmas Cottage.

Ice Plaza

Ice Plaza

The temporary ice rink will return to Federal Hill Commons to offer residents an outdoor recreational activity this winter. Instead of offering sessions, our Ice Plaza allows skaters to enjoy the ice for as long as they want as admission is good all day long.

Lights Over Seminary

Lights Over Seminary is a walkable, holiday lights display in Seminary Park that focuses on history. Restored vintage decorations used by the city in the past are on display and will help brighten the night once again along with the signature light up Noblesville sign. Lights Over Seminary is a collaboration between the city and Noblesville Preservation Alliance and Main Street. The event is free to attend and available 5 to 11 p.m. nightly through December.

Tree Lighting

Lighting of the square

The holiday season kicks off at 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 27, with the annual Downtown Tree Lighting Ceremony presented by the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce. This year's event will be held outdoors on the steps of the Historic Hamilton County Courthouse. It is always a hit with families and includes holiday music and sing-alongs, special guests, and of course, the lighting of the beautiful downtown lights and Christmas tree.

Holiday Trash

Holiday Trash Impact

Because Christmas and New Year’s Day fall on Saturdays, Noblesville residents’ regular trash and recycling pick-up schedule will NOT be impacted by the holidays. Collection will be made on Friday, Dec. 24 and 31, 2021.

In addition, Republic Services will collect Christmas trees from December 27 until January 7, 2022. Trees will be collected on the same day and in the same location as residents’ trash/recycle collection. Please note that trees must be cut into sections of no more than four feet per section and placed inside the trash cart so that the automated arm of the trucks will be able to place them in the truck. Trees lying on the ground besides trash containers will not be collected.

For questions, contact Republic Services at (317) 567-6400.
