This year’s festivities consist of several changes, including location and extended event times. Construction transforming the intersection of Field Drive and Cumberland Road into a roundabout will close that area during the summer and caused the committee to look at an alternative site instead of Noblesville High School. The festival is expanding two hours and will last from 4 to 10 p.m at Forest Park. The grand finale of the day will be the fireworks display at 10 p.m. Viewing will be available throughout the park.

“Decades ago, fireworks were launched and watched at Forest Park so returning to that location will be a fond memory for those longtime Noblesville residents and a great new memory for new ones,” said Mayor John Ditslear. “The planning committee is working to incorporate park amenities with traditional festival activities and new, exciting opportunities.”

Forest Park provides guests with the traditional park amenities such as playgrounds, shelters – and most importantly, nature providing plenty of shade. It also expands our festival area and layout.

This year’s Kids Zone will include more activities than ever before, including 11 inflatable bounce houses with sizes for different age groups. The area will have its own entertainment stage presented by Noblesville Economic Development with a Dr. Seuss, pirate and comedy-magic shows and DJ Jason Fritz playing music specifically for children. The area also will have six balloon artists, six face painters, two silt walking jugglers, a trackless train to ride and an art project through Caravan Classes.

Other exciting new additions to cater to all ages include a 300-foot zipline, beer garden, a ninja warrior course, cornhole and an Indy Eleven activity. We also will have live music on the main stage presented by Republic Services with headliner Road Trip, a fantastic cover band from Milwaukee, and School of Rock as the opener.

FestivalThe Noblesville Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks Festival is a family-friendly tradition that dates back to 1997. The day begins with the annual Fourth of July Parade with the honorary grand marshal, Mayor John Ditslear, state representatives, community businesses and organizations, local youth sports teams, public safety vehicles and others traveling through downtown Noblesville. Afterwards, the fun continues at the Fireworks Festival at Forest Park with live music, games, inflatables, food and other entertainment and activities. The holiday concludes with the fireworks show lighting up the nighttime sky that guests can view right from the festival.
The entire event is geared around the family - making memories, spending time together and celebrating our great country's history and heritage. Thanks to all of our sponsors and donations from local businesses and individuals that fund 100% of the costs, the event free of charge to all attendees.

Shuttle Stops

Parking will be limited at Forest Park on July 4th. Only handicap parking will be available on marked spaces along Cicero Road. Proper tags must be displayed to be able to park in this area while spaces are available. Forest Park Aquatic Center and parking will be open for normal business.

The Festival Planning Committee is limiting the parking spaces due to public safety. With so many activities and people walking around the park and on the road, we need to make sure it is safe for all of our guests and their children. Trolley rides will run continuously throughout the festival. Following the fireworks, Noblesville Schools’ buses will be added to the routes to assist guests leaving the park as quick as possible.

A map of the trolley routes and park festivities has been created to help guests plan where to park and what attractions they will want to visit during the festival. Shuttle routes will drop-off and pick-up guests at the two ends of the park and include multiple stops in designated parking lots.

East Route – Stops include North Elementary, Ivy Tech Community College, First United Methodist Church and Evans Street at 10th Street. The trolley will drop-off guests near the main stage on the north entrance of Forest Park (near Field Drive).

South Route – Stops include Riverview Health, the Riverview Overflow Lot and the Hamilton County Government Employee Lot off Conner Street. The trolley will drop-off guests near the Kids Zone on the south entrance of Forest Park (from State Road 19).

Guests are encouraged to utilize the numerous downtown parking lots and on street parking and walk to the festival using the pedestrian bridge across the White River or State Road 19. Due to their proximity, Federal Hill Commons and the Moose Lodge will be park and walk lots.

VolunteersThe biggest challenge that the Noblesville Fourth of July Festival Planning Committee faces each year is finding enough volunteers to staff the festival and parade. The city is seeking organizations, businesses and individuals that would like to assist with inflatables or carnival games. Each organization is able to adopt as many stations as they believe can fill with volunteers from 4 to 10 p.m. Organizations can wear matching T-shirts or volunteer vests.

A hospitality tent will provide food and drinks for volunteers in addition to organizations earning in-kind trade or discounted rates for facility rentals. Organizations volunteering with at least 10 volunteers and reaching 20 hours of service can earn a free 4-hour court or shelter rental. To volunteer or for more information, contact nhaberlin@noblesville.in.us or call (317) 770-5750.

In order to keep the activities and entertainment free, the Planning Committee must raise approximately $33,000 each year.  Tax money is not used for this budget; instead, all of the money used to pay for the entertainment, activities, and fireworks display is raised through sponsorships and donations. The Noblesville July 4th Planning Committee is still raising money to pay for this year’s festivities.

We would appreciate your support in becoming a donor or sponsor of this year’s Noblesville Fourth of July festivities. Many sponsorship opportunities are available from levels ranging from $250 - $10,000. To learn more about our sponsors, click here.
