Professional Profile

Wil Hampton began his second term on the Noblesville Common Council in January 2020. A native of Muncie, Hampton earned a journalism degree from Ole Miss. He has lived in Noblesville since 1996. Hampton's professional career has included opportunities in fundraising, marketing and broadcasting. He was the executive director for athletic marketing, sponsorship and events at Marian University, and he was a familiar face on television and voice on radio as a longtime sportscaster in the Indianapolis market.

In the Noblesville community, Hampton serves as a board member and past president of the Noblesville Schools Education Foundation and is an active member at Our Lady of Grace Church, where he teaches religious education. Hampton also has coached youth sports since 1999 for CYO, Noblesville Youth Baseball, Noblesville Babe Ruth and Noblesville Boys and Girls Club.
