Holidays Affect Trash and Christmas Tree Pick-Up Schedule in Noblesville

Holiday Trash

Because of the upcoming holidays falling on a Wednesday, there will be a single-day delay during trash collection for the next two weeks if your trash/recycling is picked up on Wednesday through Friday. Republic Services employees will be off Christmas and New Year’s Day and will work Thursday through Saturday from December 26 through January 4. Noblesville residents’ regular trash and recycling pick-up schedule the next two weeks will be delayed one day after Christmas and New Year’s. For instance, if your usual pickup day is Thursday, it will be Friday due to the holidays. Please note that if your trash is collected on Mondays or Tuesdays, your schedule will not be altered by the holidays.

In addition, Republic Services will collect Christmas trees from Thursday, December 26 until Friday, January 10, 2020. Trees will be collected on the same day and in the same location as residents’ trash/recycle collection. Please note that trees must be cut into sections of no more than four feet per section and placed inside the trash cart so that the automated arm of the trucks will be able to place them in the truck. Trees lying on the ground besides trash containers will not be collected.
