Food, Monetary Donations Requested For Noblesville Firefighters Christmas Food and Toy Drive

The Noblesville Fire Department is preparing for its final week of collecting donations for this year’s Christmas Food and Toy Drive, which will take place on Saturday, December 15.

“We are grateful to those that have already contributed. The community has responded as it does every year to ensure local families have a joyous holiday season. While we believe we have enough toys for the 110 less-fortunate families in Noblesville, we are in need of canned goods and food items,” NFD Assistant Chief Matt Mitchell said.

The fire department is accepting canned goods, non-perishable food items, monetary donations (checks are preferred – made payable to the Noblesville Fire Department Legacy Fund), and new, unwrapped toys through Monday, December 10. Donations may be dropped off at any of the Noblesville Fire Stations or at Noblesville City Hall, 16 South 10th Street.

2018 marks the 41st anniversary since the program started. The fire department has partnered with Kroger for food needs and Meijer for toys. For more information, contact the Noblesville Fire Department at 776-6336, extension 1400.
