Residents Need To Contact Street Department For Free Brush Pickup

Residents with brush piles must contact the Noblesville Street Department to schedule a pickup at (317) 776-6348. Weekly brush pickup on trash days by the street department started March 13 and ended October 13.

“While not available weekly anymore, we still offer this free service to our residents when needed,” said Street Commissioner Patty Johnson. “Brush pickup is meant for homeowner trimmings and not intended for contractor’s to utilize when being paid to remove residential trees.”

Residents are asked to stack brush in small piles that are no more than four feet in length and eighteen inches in diameter (4’x18”). The individual limb size should be no more than four inches in diameter. If a resident’s brush pile exceeds the listed size, street department crews will utilize different equipment to pick up the larger pile.

Pick up is made on the street side only with no alley collections. All brush must be placed as close to the curb as possible without going in to the street.
