The Street Department provides maintenance of City streets and alleys, sidewalks and street trees. The department handles brush pick-up, leaf pick-up, and snow and ice removal. They also handle mosquito spraying, city sign maintenance, and encroachment permits and inspections. This department also has programs such as the Urban Forester Program and the Adopt-A-Street Program.
