As part of the improvements to Hazel Dell Road Phase II, Hazel Dell Road from 146th Street to State Road 32 will be closed for 90 days starting on or after September 4, 2007. This closure will allow for the construction of the new bridge on Hazel Dell Road over the Kirkendall Creek and the roundabout at 161st Street and Hazel Dell Road. The closure will also prevent east/west traffic on 161st Street at Hazel Dell Road.
Access will be maintained to all homes, business, park, and/or schools within the limits of the road closure. The road closure has been coordinated with local public safety officials. See notes below regarding access and a link to the detour route.

Properties located off of Hazel Dell Road south of 156th Street will gain access from the south on Hazel Dell Road. (This includes Noble Crossing Elementary School, East Haven and West Haven subdivions, Dillon Park, and commercial development on Hazel Dell Road north of 146th Street.)

Properties located on Hazel Dell Road between 161st Street and 156th Street will have access from the west from 156th Street. (This includes Twin Oaks subdivision.)

Properties on Hazel Dell Road north of 161st Street will have access from the north from Hazel Dell Road. (This includes Essex of Noblesville and Hazel Dell Woods subdivisions.)
