Winter weather and snow caused the City of Noblesville to postpone its annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 24. Officials are excited to announce that the Egg Hunt has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 7 at Forest Park, 701 Cicero Road.

Children are invited to come and enjoy lots of fun activities beginning at 10 a.m. at Shelter 5 including bounce houses, a DJ, and vehicle tours from the Noblesville Fire and Police Departments. The Easter Bunny even rescheduled its vacation plans to be in attendance and greet children.

The Egg Hunt will begin at 11 a.m. sharp and includes four age groups for children up to 10 years old (1-2, 3-4, 5-6 and 7-10). No registration is required to participate. The annual event is sponsored by Hare Chevrolet with additional assistance from Walmart and KidZone Party Rentals.

“Although the weather hasn’t cooperated this year, we still want to hold an enjoyable event for the children and provide them an opportunity to hunt eggs, win prizes and of course get their photo taken with the Easter Bunny,” Noblesville Parks Director Brandon Bennett said.

The Noblesville Sunrisers Kiwanis annual pancake breakfast also has been rescheduled and will take place prior to the Egg Hunt in the Forest Park Inn from 8 to 10:30 a.m. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee and milk. Cost is $5 per person and all proceeds will benefit a children’s charity.
