SB CampWith Spring Break just weeks away, parents still have time to sign up their children in kindergarten through sixth grade for Noblesville Parks’ Spring Break Camp. The parks department is offering full-day, week-long camps in conjunction with Noblesville Schools’ Spring Break from March 26 through April 6.

The recreation staff will provide two weeks of games, crafts, nature, laughter and friendship. Campers should pack their lunch, two snacks, a water bottle and wear gym shoes. Campers will have a science project, arts and crafts, and will stay active each day of camp.

“I love our Spring Break Camp options because it really caters to those who do not have travel plans and those that do,” said Assistant Recreation Director Lorna Steele. “It is a really great way to switch up a child’s schedule, give them something fun and active to do, have them interact with different kids and ultimately, experience new and fun things during Spring Break. The options are very flexible, if you need an option for your child for a few days or all week, we can accommodate you.”

Spring Break Camp is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 26 through 30 and April 2 through 6 at Forest Park Lodge. The weekly cost is $125 for residents ($155 for nonresidents). Noblesville Parks also offers a day option which is $30 for residents ($40 for nonresidents). Before and after care is available each day. Before care from 7 to 8 a.m. is $10 for the week or $2 per day. After care from 4 to 6 p.m. is $15 for the week or $3 per day.

In addition to the traditional Spring Break Camp, Jump Start Sports Camp will be offered for the first time this year for children in first through sixth grade. The highly qualified staff from Jump Start Sports will lead the sports camp and give children the opportunity to learn about sports. Kids will have the opportunity to play various sports in the morning such as baseball, basketball, lacrosse, flag football, soccer and ultimate Frisbee, and in the afternoon they will participate in traditional camp games such as capture the flag, dodgeball and kickball.

Jump Start Sports Camp is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 26 through 30 at the Recreation Annex, Gate 18. The weekly cost is $160 for residents ($184 for nonresidents). Daily rates are also available for $40 ($46 nonresidents). Before and after care is available each day. Before care from 7 to 8 a.m. is $3 per day and after care from 4 to 6 p.m. is $6 per day.
