While relocating water lines in advance of the Noblesville Utilities’ Long Term Control Plan Phase 4 project, Indiana American Water (IAW) discovered a broken water valve in downtown Noblesville. IAW will conduct repair work at the intersection of Ninth and Logan streets this evening. Work will begin after 10 p.m. and flaggers will be onsite to assist any motorists. A temporary asphalt patch will be placed in the intersection and a permanent repair will take place later this spring when weather allows.

Due to the unforeseen repair, work at Tenth and Wayne streets has been rescheduled for Monday, March 20 and Tuesday, March 21. At that time, the roadway will be restricted to one lane.

In April, the city will begin installation of new storm water sewers which will improve drainage in the northern half of the city.  There will be parking and lane restrictions during this project. More details about the city’s Long Term Control Plan Phase 4 project will be released closer to its start of construction.
