Public Education and Services

The Noblesville Fire Department's first line of defense against fire loss and other public risk are our Fire Prevention Programs. We strongly believe that the prevention of fires is far more cost effective and beneficial to our citizens than fire suppression efforts after a fire occurs.

The Fire Prevention Bureau has a variety of age appropriate and business related fire prevention materials available to educate and help facilitate a "fire-smart community":

  • Smoke Alarm Program
  • Carbon Monoxide Detectors
  • E.D.I.T.H. or "Exit Drills in the Home"
  • Home Fire Extinguishers
  • Fire Safety for your church
  • Fire Extinguisher Training for Businesses
  • Home Fire Prevention Checklist
  • Kitchen Safety
  • Mobile Home Fire Facts and Safety
  • Senior Citizen Fire Safety Checklist
  • Juvenile Fire-setter Program
  • Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Smoke Detector Program
  • Fire Safety Trailer
  • Preschool Programs

Project Lifesaver

The Noblesville Fire Department is also proud to support Project Lifesaver of Hamilton County, Indiana. Project Lifesaver is an innovative program that focuses on the safety and well-being of adults and children who wander due to Alzheimer's, autism, dementia, or other cognitive disorders. For more information on Project Lifesaver, click here.
