The Noblesville Fire Department currently has 132 career firefighters, including eleven full time staff positions, operating out of 7 fire stations. Station personnel consist of three shifts, each of those shifts operating on a 24-hour schedule. Each shift consists of a Battalion Chief, 8 Officers, and 31 firefighters.
NFD covers a rapidly growing area of 55 square miles within its jurisdiction. These 55 square miles consist of City and Township of Noblesville having a combined population of approximately 41,000 citizens. In addition to fire suppression, we provide emergency medical services (EMS), consisting of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS/Paramedics), providing transport in 3 ambulances. NFD also maintains a Hazardous Materials Team, Dive Team, and Tactical Rescue Team.
