The mission of the Noblesville Fire Department is to prevent harm by
mitigating the effects of natural or manmade disasters. High quality cost
efficient fire prevention, public education, fire suppression, advance
emergency medical service, and rescue responses are provided
while maximizing firefighter safety.

The Noblesville Fire Department (NFD) currently has 126 career firefighters, including eight full time staff positions, operating out of 7 fire stations. Station personnel consist of three shifts, each of those shifts operating on a 24-hour schedule. Each shift consists of a Battalion Chief, 8 Officers, and 30 firefighters.

NFD covers a rapidly growing area of 58 square miles within its jurisdiction. These 58 square miles consist of City and Township of Noblesville having a combined population of approximately 51,969 citizens, an increase of 83% since year 2000. In addition to fire suppression, we provide emergency medical services (EMS), consisting of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS/Paramedics), providing transport in 3 ambulances. NFD also maintains a Hazardous Materials Team, Dive Team, Water Rescue and Tactical Rescue Team.
Our current ISO rating for City of Noblesville/Township is a 4/8B.
